Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi
Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi is a fully qualified Australian Plastic Surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery and hand surgery.
Dr Mirkazemi is:
- a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS); and
- a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
- a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
- a member of the Australasian Cleft Lip and Palate Association
After completing secondary school in Tasmania, Mansoor spent a year performing voluntary service in Haifa, Israel, before being admitted to the School of Medicine, University of Tasmania.
Mansoor graduated in 1995, and completed his internship and two years of Basic Surgical Training at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He then trained as a Registrar in Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedics and worked with senior plastic surgeons in Tasmania for three years.
In 2002, Mansoor moved to Victoria, where he trained under the auspices of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in General Surgery for 2 years before taking an extra 4 years of advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he trained in:
- cosmetic surgery
- hand surgery
- reconstructive breast surgery
- skin cancer surgery
His areas of expertise include Facial Rejuvenation, Nasal Refinement Procedures, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery, Abdominoplasty, Skin Cancer and Melanoma, Hand Surgery, and Cleft Lip and Palate. Mansoor is also currently working as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at public hospitals with Southern Health and Eastern Health
